How much produce can I expect?

CSA members can expect to get a share of what is ready for harvest each week. Our standard weekly share is typically enough vegetables for 2-3 people.

What vegetables can I expect?

2023 customers can expect to receive the following throughout the growing season:

  • A variety of greens and lettuces throughout the season

  • Cabbage, Broccoli, Kale, Kohlrabi, Turnip, Choi

  • Tomatoes, Bell Pepper

  • Yellow and Green Beans and Sugar Snap Peas

  • Summer Squash (green and yellow zucchini), Winter Squash (Butternut and Buttercup)

  • Cucumber

  • Carrots

  • Radish

  • Beet

  • Swiss Chard

  • Potato

  • Garlic Bulbs and Scapes

  • Basil, Dill, Parsley

When and where do I pick up my CSA share?

Wednesday pick ups will be at 408 Lincoln Ave. Eau Claire, WI.

Thursday pick ups will be at The Coffee Grounds, 4212 Southtown Drive, Eau Claire.

How do I make sure that I have a subscription?

CSA SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2023 SEASON.

Please email (rachel@solheimwi.com) or call 715-559-9319 to purchase a CSA subscription.

All checks must be made out to Eat The Farm LLC.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes, we will send you a receipt when we receive your payment in full.  This receipt can be used to turn in to some insurance companies for rebates, check to see if your insurance has such a rebate offering.  For example, Allen and Rachel have WEA Trust, as do many university and public school teachers, check out their Trust Perks here.

Can I visit Solheim Market Gardens?

Yes, we are proud of the practices and growing methods we use, and are happy to show and tell.  If you would like to visit please email (rachel@solheimwi.com) or call ahead (715-559-9319) to schedule a visit. Also, we invite CSA members to a farm picnic each June, the date to be announced.
